With well over a month, I wouldn't be surprised if they reach 150k+ from this campaign. After all the rewards are accounted for, they'll still probably pocket 125k+ to put towards the brewery. Really cool stuff & well deserved for JWB due to his overly eager obsession with everything beer and involvement with the brewing industry. Great to see the growth of craft beer in South Florida!

    this is fantastic.

as an out of state OG backer who will likely not be able to travel for the donor party, can i give my ticket to my trustee to bring a friend or perhaps give my ticket to another friend who is local who might not be a donor?

Took the plunge, OG member. This along with el catador and funky buddha founders member offically will be draining my bank accouts for years to come.

    And slowly destroying your liver.
But you've had beers from each, and you know it's worth it!

First BA post. Many year user.

Put in a pretty healthy donation... Been a fan of JW ever since his Lokal and Abraxas events last year where I was lucky enough to have the bourbon barrel-aged Nothing (which I actually prefer to the recent rum barrel aging). The sours are fun but it's the darker stuff that gets my mouth watering

El Catador was under-priced for what it was by quite a lot IMO. The JW OG membership was priced right and I'm proud to be able to support a man living his dreams, particularly when that support will help yield some absolutely amazing, locally-available beer.

Well, I did receive 11 different offers already, and one was on the bad-trader list, so due diligence is important.

Not down just suuuuuuuuper slow. Usually means some host server issues...

aside from CCB, this had to be the fastest selling out reserve society.

would be cool to let people buy companion tix for the donor party after the date is announced..

I agree, I joined but my spouse did not. I'm unsure about buying her a ticket to the party as I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it.

Another option that would be cool is if out of state member's tickets could be transferred to other donors to get a significant other in. I would certainly give my donor party ticket to my trustee or another person looking to get a spouse in since it will be a stroke of luck if I am actually able to attend myself.

Ticketing the event and making the tickets transferable would be ideal. I likely can't go, but I can think of a few people that would probably very much like the opportunity to attend. Would be nice to be able to share the experience.

For anyone else that loves brewery workshirts as much as I do: I emailed JWB and they said they will be giving the option to upgrade the t-shirt included in the OG membership to a workshirt near the end of the campaign.

Agree 100% as I would be flying in if the date worked and would love to take the lady friend along for a mini beer vacation
