Probably the dec 3rd Art Basel release.

 

I think I read that somewhere as well. Havent been excited about this one because I didnt see a beer I wanted until I read about Thunderdome... I loved Master Blaster so an imperial version of that with Monstra Coffee (I dont think Master Blaster had Mostra) I can get on board with that.

 

It did! Was my introduction to Mostra, actually. Love love love that place.

 

Awesome running into you at the brewery yesterday brother...Thunderdome was amazing. Huge coffee nose at first and thick coconut and vanilla finish. Looking forward to this release.

Im in town next week for work, I've got some time on Tuesday afternoon. Just googled Wynwood and looks like a really cool place to wander! Will be sure to swing by the tap room as well.

 

Thanks! I picked up a bottle of Cake and a 4 pack of the NE IPA on Sunday. I'm going to try to make it back tonight or tomorrow night. Can't make it outside of Miami, unfortunately. Thanks for all the tips. I will be back for Art Basel next month, so hope I can get my hands on some of those bottles.

when does this get released?

 

Only solid info is the first week of December.

Also, looks like cans of the Civil Society sour IPA collab are being released next week.

 

Anyone been to a midweek release like this? ( or has JWB done one before?) want to swing by at open to grab some cans on my way out of Miami but not sure if it will be crazy or not.

 

I dont believe hes had a mid week release in a long time (Last one I remember was Harbringer). The last can release was IPA ones and I was in and out no problem but that was a Saturday. I assume there will be no craziness with this one as well though.

 

Don't think you'll encounter any craziness, Cap. You should be fine no matter what time.

 

Sweet. Wasn't expecting one but you never know, people seem to enjoy lining up for beer. How is the collab with Civil tasting btw?

And, were you at the FB Morning Wood release?

 

I actually haven't tasted it yet. Got some art projects I'm working on for Art Basel, so have been busy with those.

I was! Had a good time that day. So happy they had Veruca. That beer is phenomenal. Hope they bottle that one at some point.

What did you think of Morning Wood? Larger production did absolutely no harm in my opinion. Was my favorite FB beer before, + it remains so today. Absolutely delicious.
