This batch of MW is great. My memory is hazy on last years batch, but for producing so much more this year, it doesn't seem to have lost anything.

 

Agreed. Funky's done a great job with both Last Snow + Morning Wood. Unfortunate that they had the low fill issue with LS. Didn't take away from the beer, fresh.

We are excited to announce that we will be selling VIP WakeFest Ticket Packages next week!

Starting Tuesday November 15th we will be selling a maximum of 50 VIP tickets onsite at the brewery at 12PM (ET). This gives an opportunity to our most loyal regulars and local supporters to purchase a ticket before online VIP Packages go live Wednesday November 16th at 12PM (ET) on the interwebz (link to be provided soon).

There is a maximum purchase of two (2) tickets per person.
No cash. Credit only (service fees will apply).
After Tuesday all tickets will be sold online.

 

excited about this event and am looking forward to buying VIP tickets. would anyone mind telling me how many people were there last year / expected this year? do I have a snowballs chance in hell in getting 2 VIP tix online? thanks.

 

Hard to tell with last years event being tiny compared to what being planned for this year. There where no VIP tickets, not even admission ticket last year. It was straight up drink ticket per pour walk in event.

 

Yes, it's really good. Not a ton of hop flavor, but a real nice sour kick to it

 

Yeah I went by yesterday after work and grabbed some. Super tart flavor that hits you in the mouth from the start, nice finish with the hops. Glad I got some.

 

Anyone have thoughts as to how Miami Madness b2 compares from draft to bottle?

 

For me, bottle is drinking better, + that's that I love the draft version. You get so much more fruit in the bottle. It's pure juice. A child could drink this + not know there's alcohol in it.

We bottled BA Harbinger yesterday, alongside Welcome to the Thunderdome, so only 4 bottles left to do for Basel.

Came here to tell you about BA Harbinger.....HO-LY-SHIT. It's unreal. A very low count, so do not sleep on this. It's going to sell out no matter what I say, so not really trying to hype it. I'm just that blown away at how amazing it is.

 

Damn. Any word or idea yet if BA Harbinger will be released on Thurs, Fri or Sat?

 

After having regular Harbinger, I don't think any hype is needed for a BA version. Are we looking at similar numbers to the whaling day stouts?

No word yet on which beers will be released on which dates, yet. Once I know, if it's not posted on here already, I'll let you guys/gals know.

I'll second this. Grabbed a 4 pack and it's an utterly crushable, tasty beer. Kudos to Civil Society and JW for getting together on this one!

 

3. Please bring a matching ID for the purchase of your VIP Tickets. Your ID must match your credit card address and will be the location of ticket/wristband delivery.

4. Wristbands and tickets will not be handed out upon ticket purchase. They will be delivered to the address on your credit card/ID.

Sounds like they will mail the wristband for the event to your billing/mailing address that is tied to the credit card. Nothing about having to verify that ID at the event. But who knows

 

I'd be willing to bet that you have to have an ID matching to get into the event. Prevents people from reselling tickets
