Will this be as well attended as Big Poppa? Could probably get there around 11:00 but would avoid the multiple hour drive if I would need to get there super early.

I got to the taproom around 11PM and HSF was gone :slight_frown:

Really liked Voodoo Woman when it was on earlier this week.

You can actually get there right at noon when the beer goes on sale and get any of the bottles you want - you won't even have to wait in line.

It will just cost you $50-$150 per bottle.

My guess is an 11AM arrival might net you the barleywine at retail price.

Maybe not. FWIW, I haven't seen anywhere near the level of talk/speculation about this release as I did for Big Poppa, or even their DFPF & MM releases. I still maintain that the Big Poppa line was due to it being the non-BA version of the special anny beers.

11am might be pushing it, but i don't think it's out of the question that one could show up at that time and get the full allotment.

    Have you done this before?

Sold or bought bottles at those kind of prices?

I sincerely hope that you are right man

Neither, but showing up with cash on-hand to buy bottles as people are wrapping up their retail purchases seems a surefire way to get whatever you want, considering plenty of them are bought only to be flipped online anyway.

2 pp on all bottles, Mongo & Voodoo Woman are $25 each, Han Shot First is $30. Bottle counts in the 600 range. 87 degrees is the high, about 20% chance of rain, humidity will be at 71%.

Doesn't seem this release is as hyped as the last one. Trying to figure what time I should go.

I guess since the beers today didn't have an inherent secondary market trade / dollar value, despite the fact that all three today were barrel aged and none were at the previous release, everything went smooth and we didn't have people lining up at 10pm.

Yeah, bottle limits were lifted. Left with 3 HSF and I got there like 10 min before 2 PM.
