Jackie o availability and cost Q

    Howdy

    My sister is coming to Philly from OH soon. Can I expect her to be able to find any Jackie o sours around Columbus and if so what should these bottles cost. Any ideas of where she can get these beers? Any other great beer not available in Philly or just great Oh beer I should ask for?

    Jackie O bottles are RARELY, RARELY available in Columbus, and the only place I've ever seen them is at Barrel and Bottle. However, I don't think you'll find any bottles right now anywhere outside of the brewpub.

    And if she's going to be in Columbus, Columbus IPA is a must. Check www.seekabrew.com and find what we have that you don't, and go from there.

    BTW, being a bit of a homer here, but Weasel Boy is less than a mile from I-70, on the way back she could stop and get a growler or two. Their Bitter Sable Imperial Black IPA is on tap right now.

    Edit: If 50 bucks ain't too bad, they still have the 1 gallon growlers of Bourbon Barrel Anastasia as well, it's a damn good RIS. I took a growler of it to Jackie O's for the Anniversary Party, you can ask the Penn guys that were there about it :slight_smile:

    Weasel Boy and Jackie O's are 2 places I've gotta visit, being a NE Ohioian...lots of breweries to be proud of in the Buckeye state. No shame in being a homer, nothing wrong w/standing on the front porch and pounding your chest.
