Thankfully a coworkers sister goes to school right near JO... She stopped in today and got a case of both for us to split. Can't wait to get my bottles of this beer! Excited about the variant, but the original is amazing from what I recall. Look forward to it again.

Can anyone confirm Vanilla is still available? I'm driving out there today.

 

I read on untapped they had 250 cases and if so I'd imagine it will be like all the other releases

 

No way!... I won't make the 3hr drive to JO for a release and when the stars align to get it (easily), you jump on it! No shame!

 

Multiple 6 hour round trips at the end of the year can be rough, even with the fall foliage. We need a JO train, lmao.

 

Agreed, my buddy's little brother at OU picked some up for me

 

Buddy of mine, who went yesterday, was told by the bartender that they were on their last few cases of vanilla. Can anyone confirm? I'll probably still make the trip for reg black maple anyways.

 

They tweeted a case count of what is left this morning. 346 cases of BBBM, 128 of BBBM Vanilla.

Yeah, for sure! I have only been to JO twice, mainly because it's not near anywhere I typically go. If we head to southern Ohio it's usually via the route to Cincinnati. They need to just really open up a Cleveland brewpub, that would be quite nice...

That it did. the vanilla is amazing after having it on draft I knew it would sell out very quickly

 

They sold nearly 100 cases today alone? Looks like I should have taken a vacation day instead of planning to come Sunday.

 

So 200 people bought their allotment today?Hmmm I'm not saying that's false, but seems a bit surprising to me.

 

I wouldn't be shocked since you can effectively double the limit by going to both locations, which are only a few miles apart.

 

That's what y'all get after the VR comparisons. Hype it up!

Just a quick update from the Taproom:

Case counts as of 5:00pm today are 200 BB Black Maple and 27 Vanilla Black Maple. Both are still available on draft.

Oh well, I'll still hold out hope that regular black maple is still around when I get a chance to make it down there.
