You are so right. But 16 oz cans of this would probably go for $18-$20 while it goes for $11 in the smaller ones.

This stuff is incredible. Going forward I'm anxious to see what Jackie O's does with hops and haze.

DBBM isn’t “official” yet - Rumored to be released in bottles in 2 weeks. Check Jackie O’s social for release info. Pic wasn’t mine, a friend was lucky enough to get a preview sample.

I was lucky enough to get a sample and thought it was great. Definitely reminded me of Poly 3 since they both use the cinnamon vanilla barrels but the DB Black Maple has a nice sweetness to it that isn't over the top. Great balance of the maple, vanilla, cinnamon, and bourbon.

 

Forgot to add, the label of DB Black Maple recommends drinking it at room temperature. That's how I tried it and it was perfect. I can see how some of the flavors might be muted while chilled.

 

What day does JO’s usually do releases? Friday’s?

Might be in the Columbus area during Memorial Day weekend and would make the trip if DB Maple is in fact released.

 

May 25th is the date. Still waiting on all lab results to come in so that could be subject to change. Bourbon Barrel Brick Kiln will also be released.
