"It is also an exciting time for Brad as he makes plans to develop his own brewery/brand in California."

Seems he plans to open a brewery.

While that's a bit of bad news for Ohio beer lovers, I just wanna say thank you to Brad. You're a good dude and it was a pleasure to have you participate in our community until you, understandably, left; and it was a HUGE pleasure to drink your beer. Good luck!

Have you looked on Facebook or Instagram? Draft list has been posted and some bottles have been announced. Discounted hotel rates, dates, and other details have also been released via the social media outlets mentioned above.

Don't use Facebook or Instagram. When I looked on the Facebook page the other day it was blank, probably because I wasn't logged in. Would be nice to see some information on your webpage. Best of luck on your future ventures though.

Every year we experiment with our beloved Imperial Stout, Dark Apparition, by aging it in a different spirit barrel. Our 2019 release in this series is Port Barrel Dark Apparition, and bottles will be available at our Extravaganza celebration on January 4th & 5th!

We sourced some beautiful port barrels from Portugal. These barrels quietly rested for almost a year, lending intriguing depth and character to our signature Imperial Stout. A rich nose of dark chocolate and vanilla is accompanied by a subtle and mature grape presence. The flavor provides hints of leather, tobacco, and chocolate covered blackberries.

    10% Abv.
    11.99/bottle (6/person/day)

Stay tuned for more bottle release info and the Extravaganza draft list!

First on the list for the Extravaganza bottle release will be the biggest and boldest beer that we have made in our 13 years of brewing! ‪On January 4th‬, we will release Anything And Everything And Nothing At All, a collab we did with Cycle Brewing from St. Petersburg, Florida. This huge Imperial Stout was aged for 18 months in cinnamon vanilla whiskey barrels. These unique barrels lent an incredible amount of adjunct character via the wood and the residual liquid in the barrels. We did not use any vanilla beans or cinnamon sticks in creating this beer. Finishing at an impressive 16% ABV, Anything And Everything And Nothing At All is the strongest brew we have ever made. Join us in celebrating 13 years of brewing and try this exciting release on draft and in bottles!

As we are getting closer to the Extravaganza make sure to book your hotel for the event! Two local hotels are offering discounted room rates, more details below.

The Ohio University Inn is offering a discounted room rate using the code “Jackie O’s”. Please make reservations by ‪December 21, 2018‬.
    ‪(866)593-6661‬

The Fairfield Inn and Suites Athens, Ohio is also offering a discounted rate. To take advantage of this rate, please make reservations by ‪January 1st, 2019‬, and mention JOB (Jackie O's Beer) when calling.
    ‪(740) 589-5839‬

Stay tuned for more bottle release info and the Extravaganza draft list!

Anybody hear if other bottles are going to drop too? We'd typically see BA DA, BA VCDA, and spirit beast if not others (last year we got some tasty sours IIRC). Or maybe everything is delayed like the last set of champion/black mask/oro/maple?

Thanks for the help, would have been nice if someone who works for the brewery could offer as much help.

TBF I'm sure beer advocate is the tiniest blip on the radar in terms of outreach for them. Facebook posts are pretty much the norm for 2018

That's all well and good, but in a time where more and more people are leaving Facebook, you'd think they could update their own webpage or even Twitter (which a lot of breweries do as well).
