Jackie O's (2018)

My 1st JO's release while living in Ohio and of course it had to overlap with the first department meeting at my new job. That's a great draft list! Hoping to sneak out late Friday or early Saturday to see if I can score a page and some leftovers.

 

Ryan showed me this place about a year ago and I go EVERY time I am in Athens. I actually kissed him while he was asleep, but don't tell him that.

 

I assumed that was some gorgeous OU student who had snuck into my room, but since I am married, I am OK with the fact that it was you. Wait what? Seriously though, I am pretty sure that when I went to college, the girls were not half as hot as they are now. I am reminded of that every time I am in Athens...or maybe the chicks at my school just weren't hot.

Oh and yes, those sandwiches are on a whole other level, drunk or sober.

 

My brother went to OU and graduated back in 2005. The girls down there have always been hot.

Now how do I agree with the comment about the girls at my school without offending you???

 

As far as I am concerned (or at least it's the right thing to say), there was one hot girl at your school...and I married her

 

OU girls were one of the best, if not the best part of school. There were nearly two of them for every one guy, to begin with. Add in the fact that so many were attractive, fun, and could probably go toe-to-toe with you boozing.

I may or may not have snagged one for keeps...maybe.

It would be cool if people didn't "jump in line" after "parking the car" too but that's beer releases and lines to the bathroom in 2nd grade for ya!

 

My favorite part was that every chick had a slight beer belly...not like gross big belly but just a little something that let you know "I party all weekend". I loved that place only we didn't have Jackie O's when I went there.

 

I've never witnessed that at Jackie O's but I know you told me it happened at the 9th Anny Party. I wasn't there til the next day for that but I heard that line got nuts.

 

Ha! I swear to god I was going to reference the beer bellies, too. Nice.

Also, O'Hooley's did the job -- $1 pints from 5-6 and $3 pitchers from 6-7. Usually, that meant bed time at 9:31 on Thursday night.

 

My first Jackie O's release in over 2 years! I moved out of Athens right before the August 2013 release and can't wait to be back. To any of you that used to attend the Friday night bottle shares in 2012/2013, shoot me a message, I'd love to set one up for old times sake! Anyone else organize anything like that already for Friday night?

usually there is a bottle share at the super 8. that is where i am stay and will to host in my room if need.

 

There will definitely be a bottle share at the Baymont too.

 

This will be my first time staying at the Super 8, does the bottle share usually take place inside someones room, or is it done in more of a public space (ie. lobby, parking lot, meeting room, etc.)?

 

I always sit out the bottle shares. The taps are all I need!
