I blended just a tad of Oro to a pretty much even pour of BB Oil and BB Champion. You got your next Cuvee right there.

As a former bartender kudos to the staff. Especially the two guys running the bar when ppl were first let in. Yeah we had to wait a few minutes but they got you in and out. 3 Luciles and here's my 8 sample flight. Heard a lot of those haha.

This was my first time going to the release and only enjoyed the drafts. I had a great time so I'm down with the new idea of not doing bottles and just offer limited drafts. You can always get your "to-go" fix at the Taproom and Champion Ground was a huge one . Already looking forward to the next event.

 

"#newmoney" is the most annoying beer term of the past year. Potentially worse than what it actually is used to describe.

 

Yeah, as always the staff is to notch and very friendly, it's cool getting to know some of the employees over time.

The newer format from the last few releases of opening the public house with the calendar pages puts a mad rush on the bar in there but it settles down in about 30 minutes.

The flood on the taproom around Noon was crazy, for the last year or more it's been my routine to hang out there in the morning for a bit. I've never seen it get that crowded before.

 

Hung out at the taproom on Saturday morning until about 12:00 with my buddies and it was awesome. Very quiet and relaxing with all the Oro and BBCG we could drink

@BigSpeen3436 was there with his buddy Dave and had the same idea. Was one of the most enjoyable parts of a fantastic couple of days.

I agree with the above posters. Every single staff member was so awesome and I even got a free Champion Ground. Killer experience. Jackie O's deserves any kind of new business they receive. They do it right.

 

Is Champion Ground hitting distribution this week?

 

This was in response to questions about distro on their FB post.

 

We sold so much of it last weekend that it will stay in house. If some hits distro it will only be 80 cases for the state. 6btls per person here in Athens...

 

Do you think that Oro Negro and BB Champion Ground will last until Saturday?

 

We still have 80 cases of each, it should...

"First off, big thank you to everyone who came into town this past weekend for the bottle release. I felt everything went very smooth and appreciated everyones excitement, support, and understanding. Big Success!

The Anniversary Extravaganza will be Dec. 4/5th. We will have an insane amount of different taps both days. We will not be holding a ticketed bottle release at the brewpub but, there will be some special bottles at the Taproom with a streamlined pick up system. 10 years is a big milestone and a celebration. We want to focus on that and party with everyone. More details will surface in the coming months.

If it wasn't the Cleveland Oktoberfest this weekend, I most likely would drive down for some of that BA Coffee Stout. But I love this fest and have gone 8 or 9 years running.

 

Love the Cleveland Oktoberfest. My mini-doxie races there every year.
