Great place for dogs, no doubt about it.

 

Oh and I forgot to mention, thanks to whoever it was (maybe @RyanMcFly1985 ) that recommended the chicken and waffle sandwich from Uptown Grill. Slammed one on Friday and Saturday night.

Somebody hit the BA Champion Ground HARD on Friday night!

 

Tried that BA Champion Ground last night. Probably the best small bottle format this year from Jackie Os, second favorite after the BB Black Maple. Will need to consider making that trek down there to get some more..

 

Ha! I was actually referring to whoever posted about it on here, which was probably you too. Surprisingly, I do vaguely remember going there with you and Dave. However, time escaped me the entire weekend. I thought I was passed out by midnight on Friday, but apparently it was closer to 2.

 

Apparently I need to try this place. Wasn't there when I was in school, but that sandwich sounds amazing. Between my usual routine of Miller's Chicken and Casa for brunch i'm not sure i can spare more non beer calories though ha. Also, shout out to whoever organized/cleaned up the Baymont bottle share, that was legit and tons of fun. There were some pretty awesome vintage Jackie O's bottles going around. Cant wait for the Anny party!

 

The sandwich is nuts, dude. Just nuts. I've had it drunk, I've had it sober. It's damn good. I will say, on Friday after many beers, it tasted like absolute Heaven. Pretty sure it saved me from a Saturday hangover, too.

 

That, or going to bed at like 9pm you lightweight!

 

Looks like your concept of time wasn't so hot either...it was definitely like 10:30-11 when I went home. Being 6-foot, a buck-fifty does not allow me to drink til 2 am any longer!

 

Good to see you and Nick at Baymont, Scott. It was a team effort on cleanup for sure.

It was super cool of Hosh to bring those vintage bottles, I finally got to drink OGP. The nano dark app orange was pretty cool too.

I did see that, just was not sure how fast that would go. Speculation was to the weekend, and I guess that seems fair. Would be sending my folks on a 2hr ride, so would want to be sure they are not out when they get there lol.

 

Make sure they had to the taproom and not the brewpub if they are looking for bottles. If you're sending your folks in the next few days, I highly doubt it will be an issue for them to get you bottles!

My wife and I were going to head to a doom metal fest in Maryland this weekend, instead I think we'll head down to Jackie O's Saturday and pick up a few bottles of this Champion Ground, hit the taps, lunch, etc. Not a bad tradeoff.

 

I had to talk myself out of driving back down to JO's this weekend. Like, relax, me.

 

Is the taproom open for bottle sales on Labor Day?
