I don't know if I'd say that. I'm sure the bottles will be at the brewery/taproom and the party will be at public house & the brewpub. I bet anything they release in bottles will be available on tap too so I'm not worried about it.

Agreed. And besides, the bottles are a bonus to me. Once I learned that the focus of this party would be the amazing taplist and not around standing in line for bottles, it was kind of a relief. I'm a sucker for a bottle release because I enjoy taking beer back home for later and to share with friends and family that were not fortunate enough to attend. That being said, it does get old. I'll be happy to take a break from that and just get right to whetting my palette with as many beers as possible. Can't wait!

No bomber release was a fantastic idea. The 375s still allow us to take some treats home while keeping the amount of craziness to a minimum. Well done Jackie O's. I was definitely cheering when Brad announced that last release. I just hope I can make it down to partayyyy

I tried to trade for it with no luck, but a buddy who was in Athens a few weeks ago got me Black Maple and the BA Pumpkin, and just last week I was given Oro Negro as a gift. The only one I am missing now is Champion... Maybe I can trade Roller Blabe for some lol

My wallet appreciates that it will be less than 6 per person.

Thinking I'm going to try to make the anny party. Anyone have any idea how attending will work? Is it just show up or tickets or ??? Any info will appreciated as I'm about to take the time off/book a hotel. Thanks.

Anyone else noticing a little extra bitterness to BB Champ recently. I had one on Sunday and noticed it, and a couple traders reported the same thing back. For the record, this is my favorite 375 that they have ever done and possibly my favorite beer from them ever. Just curious if anyone else has run into this.

I had one on Halloween and thought it tasted just as great as usual.

Good. I might have to do some more "research" of my own.

Opened one last night, stored cold since release...it's absolutely divine, no extra bitterness. Maybe a storage issue?

The bottle I drank most recently (a week or so ago) has been kept at cellar temp (not refrigerated) and I noticed no extra bitterness.

Gonna report back on this tonight. One was stored in my buddies fridge since the release and the two I sent out were stored in my cellar which has never had any issues in the past :/ No better day than stout day to find out

No overt bitterness here. Bourbon seems stronger than before, but it's still excellent. Maybe it was a fluke thing, or perhaps it was the Italian meats I was eating, and perhaps my traders have differently palates.

    Happy Stout Day!

    From Facebook:

Spirit Beast is being unleashed!! This collaboration with Local Cantina Brewery District is a blend of ales aged in Bourbon & Cognac barrels & will be available in 375 mL bottles, December 4 & 5 at Jackie O's Brewery and Tap Room for our 10 year anniversary!

More details about how the bottle release will go down are headed your way soon, as it all depends upon the progress of our current production brewery expansion!

Awesome label. More $ being allocated to the "JO's Anny" account on Mint.

I couldn't find any details about the Ann party on their website or their Facebook page. I've never been to any of their big releases or previous Ann parties. I just don't know what to expect. Do I need to attend both days? What is the difference between Friday and Saturday?

Here are some links to the event's details last year to give you a good idea what to expect. There won't be the calendar page ticket release this year but they will have other 375ml bottles at the taproom. The main thing to know is that they will have a bunch of great beer on tap!
