Jackie O's (2018)

BA Woodburner is their most underrated beer. I think its probably the second best BA beer they have ever made behind Champion Ground. Nobody seemed to care much about it last time and it sat on the shelves in Cleveland for a few weeks so I think I ended up buying maybe 7 bottles of it.

 

It has aged wonderfully by the way. I cracked one about a month ago.

It's not very good. People should save their money for when BA Oro comes out later in the year.

 

So regular Oro and BA Woodburner are both next week? What month is Champion Ground and BA Oro?

Gonna say that this is a bad idea to talk about this, no matter what side you sit on. I am not personally a Hillary fan, but this conversation has 0% chance of avoiding some pot-shots, so let's just not and say we did.

Good for Jackie O's, it's something they feel good about and want to do.

Im just mad because I was planning on making a little after work road trip on Tuesday, but with Hillary there, sounds like waaay to much hassle. Looks like im going to have to wait at least another week.

 

I don't think it's ever a good idea to mix business with politics. Seems like an odd move on their part.

 

All I will say is this: Political views aside, I do not see how this is mixing business and politics (though obviously, by looking at the FB comments, some do take it that way). Have people never experienced an election cycle before? Candidates go to businesses, schools, etc. all the time. Allowing them to do so does not imply endorsement of the candidate. I can think of local liberal arts schools (Baldwin-Wallace comes to mind) who has hosted both Republicans and Democrats over the years. Again, it does not imply endorsement. It is just an honor for the institution to host. Why would a growing business turn down the opportunity to host a presidential candidate? I think it is fantastic for Jackie O's, and I am definitely not a Hillary guy.

 

The Clinton camp should be gone by 3pm. No need to wait to come down.

All I can say is that I work at a collge that hosts these clowns all the time, and it's always a shit show.

 

The brewery has not endorsed or even offered an opinion on HRC the person or the politician and I doubt they will.

Let's stop talking about this now, please.

 

I agree and I wasn't making any assumptions on who they do and don't support. It just seems like your bound to piss some people off because there is so much negativity surrounding her and it might keep some people away from your business as stubborn as that might seem. In this case just swallow your pride as a customer and have a beer.

 

Pretty sure a bunch of people that never heard of the brewery now have and are going to try new beer. Great opportunity for a business.

As for Hilary, she is just coming to mule beers, can't wait to see the secret service and her staff all waiting in line getting their six pack limits.
