I had another one last night and it was great. No signs of infection.

...and the fact that Oro 2015 bottles were released exactly 12 months ago.

It's was my last one...I'll drown my sorrows in BB Oil of Aphrodite Coffee! Ha. Glad to see they aren't all effected.

That being said, should we have 3 separate locations here on BA like we do for most other breweries, so we can rate each place? I'm not as much of an authority on JO as you all so I'll leave that to you guys but I'd think we'd want each location listed.

I don't see why they wouldn't be listed separately; they are all unique from one another.

I opened a coffee/vanilla DA last night, for science, with no issues. The head was still a perfect mocha brown 1/4" tall with no weird sour or infections noted. The bourbon was still somewhat "hot" and I could see how that mixed with the acidity of the coffee/vanilla notes could seem like an off flavor, but to me all I could taste was chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, roasted / earthy coffee. Very good beer and think it will age great. Can't wait to see what is on tap for Friday!

What was the consensus on the last two 375 releases (Sorrel, Allotment)? I finally had them each over the past few days and I was kind of underwhelmed compared to some of their other offerings. I thought Sorrel was too thin of a beer for it to have gotten a barrel treatment and Allotment seemed very bourbon forward and it was hard to pick up on any of the flavors hiding behind it.

Sorrel was awesome IMO, not thin at all - def. a bourbon bomb but mouthfeel was med-full. Great showcase for the barrels. Prob. one of my favorite JO's beers in a while.

I thought Allotment was bourbon forward but had some nice cocoa, caramel and nut flavors hiding out. Had to let it warm to get a nice evolution of flavors. I like BA DA better than the BA Oils in general (and BA Coffee Oil slays it but, yeah, coffee) but haven't had this year's BA Oil yet. I didn't think it was substandard or underwhelming but nothing groundbreaking either.

Love that caramel bourbon punch in Sorrel and I believe it'll be amazing with age. Hope that it lasts for a while so I can keep restocking like Lanthrone. I didn't find anything special in Full Allotment though.

Allotment wasn't all that special, but still quite good.

Sorrel was the standout. A "brown" ale, that looks like a full blown stout sitting in the glass, the flavor was just amazing.

BB Coffee Oil gets 2 thumbs way up too!

My thoughts exactly. Both Sorrel and BB Coffee Oil have blown me away.

I still need to get my hands on some coffee oil.

I prefer Sorrel over coffee oil, no doubt. I found the (good) coffee flavor overpowering, personally.

Sorrel though, one of my favorite BA JO beers. Intense flavor but a finish that made it a bit more drinkable than most of their intensely barreled stuff. I guess more balanced is a good term, albeit overused.

Sorrel was too thin? You do realize it's a Brown Ale, right?
I thought it was exemplary! I'm a huge fan of Madtree's Gnarly Brown, one of my favs, but the Sorrel was definitely superior to BBA Gnarly Brown (which I've had a few iterations of).

I also thought Full Allotment was really good- probably a little more than some of the others who responded. But then, I love when a BBA beer smacks you in the face with bourbon!

I really liked both Full Allotment and Sorrel, slightly preferring Full Allotment. Both had big bourbon flavors (in a good way), and I found the Full Allotment to be pretty sweet, which I really enjoy from a boozy stout.

I liked Full Allotment better than BA Dark App and the BA Coffee Vanilla Dark App, but I greatly prefer Oil to Dark App. Have not had BB Coffee Oil unfortunately, so not able to make that comparison, and hoping it lasts until this weekend.

Killer tap list! Is everything expected to be on tap both days at opening, @beace ? Noticed the lack of Friday/Saturday column as in previous releases so I'm having high hopes.
