    Just got Dark Apparition and BA Brick Kiln in a trade, both 2014's. I'm stoked about both, but it's not stout and barleywine season. Ideally, I'd love to share these when the weather cools in the fall (not rushing the warm months, by the way). But I've had neither of these fresh.

    Anyone have any insight? Normally, I'd bust into them right now. But, again, I'm a seasonal drinker and while I'd enjoy them now, I think I'd be sitting by a fire in the yard on a cool October night thinking, "Damn, I wish I had those Jackie O's ..."

    They're both drinking fine with no heat at all from the BA Brick Kiln. They'll be ready for ya too in October. :wink:

    They're my only two left and I gotta remind myself, "They're still making em."

    Had the 2014 BABK about a month ago. Coulda used a little more age.
