First let me say Thank You for your excellently priced sixpacks of great beer. Much appreciated by me.

There are so many craft beer buyers these days that breweries can exist solely by selling bombers, even overpriced bombers. Many (most?) people buying them buy them once, and never again, but there are so many one-timers that the beer gets sold. Sad but true. I keep thinking this market is going to crash, but maybe it never will.

Second all of this. Very very nice beer. JA is quickly becoming my favorite brewery.

I loved the first couple bottles I had, so I bought SEVERAL more, as well as suggested to my brother that he buy a couple, which he thoroughly enjoyed as well, even though he hasn't been the biggest fan of a lot of Black IPAs.

Unfortunately, the last couple I have had have been gushers with a bit of an off-flavor. I was saving one to share with my cousin when she comes back to MA after getting her doctorates in Michigan, but I'm afraid it's going to be a complete mess in the next couple weeks.

I have also heard of bottles that lost all carbonation as well.

From what I have had from Jack's Abby, I fully support them and will continue to try everything they put out, but I just hope they get the QC up to par with the exemplary beer they produce.

    Silentjay,

Which beer did you have and where did you buy it from? These are our test runs, which is why the quantity and distribution on them low. We want to be able to track back any issue. It is also one of the reasons we have not bottled Hoponius Union yet.

We threw out a lot of bottles that were not filled properly and thought we had only released good fills. Apparently we missed some. Any information we can get will help us track back the issue and address it.

If you make it down to the brewery we would be happy to replace any bad bottles for you.

I picked up a 0.5l bottle today of the Schwarzbier for $3.99 (+ $0.05 dep). At the same store, if you want to see wacked pricing, they had a 750ml bottle (~25oz) of Boulevard Sixth Glass for $12 or so (didn't get the exact price). I opted for a 12oz bottle of the same for $3.45 (+ $0.05). $7 for 24oz or $12 for 25oz. Insane!!

    Prosit!!

Boulevard 750's are always only a dollar cheaper than a 4 pack eveywhere I go. It makes no sense to even sell them if the 4 pack is available.
