Heya folks. Just curious, has anyone noticed any differences in flavor of Jack's Abby beers in the new 12oz bottles from what you were expecting (based on prior experience)? I had a 12oz bottle of Hoponious recently and it was tasty, but it wasn't the crazy hop juice I've come to expect from that brew—the balance was much nuttier, skewed much more toward the malt and "lager" flavor components of the beer than toward the hops. These bottles just came into my area so I'm assuming they're as fresh as I could expect to find Jack's Abby pretty much anywhere outside of Framingham.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed any differences, or if it's just me (palate fatigue, stuffed up sinuses, something along those lines). Thanks!

(btw Jack's Abby, I still love the ever-loving shit out of you.)

Ah, and for what it's worth, I just found the packaging date on these bottles and it's 10/21/13, and I tasted it on the 25th and 27th. So, y'know. It's fresh.

. . . must be palate fatigue, illness, or (what I think is) the unlikely possibility that their expanded brewing system isn't 100% calibrated yet. Anyone else get some differences, or is it just me?

More than likely, your palate or possibly a slight batch variation.
