I'm trying to figure out why 12-oz 4-packs aren't appealing packages… 750 or bust? What DIPA/DIPL comes in a better format? G-Bot comes to mind in the same format (although cans).

Can I get a price check on 12pk cans of Calyptra? My local spot was $17.99. I thought I heard they were going for cheaper.

Yea pretty sure JA is specifically asking for a $15.99 or $16.99 msrp.

I've been there a few times now, and for the most part, I find the food prices pretty reasonable. The only thing I felt shortchanged on was the House Bratwurst. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but 2 sausages, a small lump of the spaetzle and a couple forks of kraut were a bit disappointing for $17. The Roasted Chicken was a huge plate for it's price (and incredible) the Pork Shank as well, along with the other things we had in the visits.

Took the family on Saturday; had a great time. Awesome to see all the families there for lunch, I'm glad they are kid friendly. I also thought it really smart of them to limit the menu and execute well on what they serve. I found it very reasonably priced for two pizzas that the 4 of us shared compared to most everywhere else we go. That mole framinghammer is very impressive.

I managed to find some Mass Rising dated late December today and scooped it up as my "farewell" to the year-round version.

Fresh canned HU is tasting great! Also got a chance to try Calytra cans as well at Wines & More's tasting. Better than I remeber. HU cans will be in my fridge on the regular and Calyptra will be a perfect beach beer. Great job JA! Can't wait for Excess cans!

Just visited the beer hall with the misses today on the way back to Dorchester after visiting the Basketball hall of Fame in Springfield.

The place was packed, but the service was fast too. Got a beer at the bar and then found 2 seats at the table. Food came out quickly and we were able to try some brewery only releases. We look forward to revising their new place in the near future. Good all around experience and we got beer to go too.

We are planning to get the first round of excess cans out towards the end of march. Also, our current ETA on house cans is to have them at the brewery at the end of next week and out for distribution early the next week.

Picked up a few 6 packs of tall boy cans today. Delicious beer at such a great price, 3 tall boy 6 packs for $30 out the door. Also great at the bar, $5 for a stein. Went great with a Clam & Bacon pizza. Loving the new space!

I stopped by Jack's Abby as I left Massachusetts in January (visiting a friend in Framingham, why this was an "on the way out" is beyond me lol) and was impressed greatly by the brewery and eatery. I left with a few growlers full of Lashes Red IPL and a few bottles of the ABS series (the Cranberry Sour was my favorite, holy cow). I'll definitely visit again when I head back east!

Had a Silbling Rye valry last night. Wow, REALLY liked that beer! Pretty complex and hugely hoppy! Is this in the regular rotation? Will it be canned too?

Visited the new beer hall for the first time last night. Man, was I impressed. Great atmosphere and beer selection. For those who have been to Bavaria and had fresh helles lager, the house lager is almost exactly like going back to Germany. The malt is perfectly balanced with the noble hops. You can tell they really locked in the mash. Super crushable, just like Augustiner. I will be buying many, many 6x16 oz of the house lager. Great job Jack's Abby!
