Contemplating driving up the last week of April - is there ANY possibility that the variants released on 4/26 will last until the next day? I'd really like to combine the trek up with a stop at Treehouse but they aren't open on Tuesdays.

Jack's Abby was saying on twitter before the Brandy/Bourbon releases that they anticipated it lasting until the following Saturday. I went in on Tuesday and there was no line. You should be good. Might have a bigger selection of variants than you think.

That was the impression that I got. Someone correct me if you've heard otherwise or been there more recently than I have.

We are bottling enough of each variant that we expect them to hang around for a couple weeks each. They should definitely be available the next day.

Just grabbed my first 4 pack of Excess and *this* is the widely available, affordable 4 pack of double ipa(ish) beer i have been waiting for! Could not have enjoyed it more. Between this, hoponious 12 packs, and house lager i should probably just arrange some sort of direct deposit system with jack's abby.

The Brandy BA Framinghammer was solid but the Bourbon BA Framinghammer was out of this world for me. I have another downstairs I'm tempted to crack later but won't. We're going to wait till all the Framinghammers are released and do a night where we have some friends over and taste through the lineup.

    Keep doing good things JA!

These guys on top of everything else have passed the economy of scale onto the consumer, I don't know anywhere else you can get a 64 oz growler for $9. Or for a buck more, 6 16oz cans of House Lager. These are prices I was used to paying 15 years ago.

    Yeah, they are amazing.

I went again today and noted the prices more carefully - the excess IPL (which is delicious, btw) is $16 for a 64oz growler, but $12 for 4-pack of 16 ounce cans. That's an incredible deal and an awesome format. I can only dream that the same pricing scheme would hold for that Slightly Pricey Awesome Brewery That Should Really Can Soon!

Excess cans are fantastic; awesome beer at a great price point.

There was a price increase to retailers this year on the BA framinghammers. But for what you get from Jack's Abby on these beers they're still under priced. I'd put BA framinghamer up against any BA beer.

Had assumed there wasn't an increase since I purchased a BA FH at Wegmans for $8.49, figured the 49 cent difference from the brewery was worth it in case they run out there before my next visit. But if there was an increase it does not appear to be significant.

I paid $12 for the Brandy and was told all the variants went $2 this year. I passed on the vanilla and coffee because of the price.

If JA decided to can or bottle Blood Orange Leisure time, I think my wife would buy every last bottle or can. Any idea if BOLT will ever be packaged and distributed?

Anyone know if/when the BA Framinghammers are gonna hit distro outside of MA? They hit my area last year, but haven't seen them at all so far this year.
