Yes and it should be released a few times per year.

Looks like Springdale’s initial “business plan” changed: Distribution. Unless, this is just for Remarkable Liquids' 5th year anniversary

So there is a story about that. Our plumber, who Copper Legend and Good N' You? were named after, was pouring for us a tasting the year we opened. As he got more comfortable at the event he started talking more about the beers. Apparently he started talking a lot and the person pouring at the next booth jokingly called him out on it and said he bet our plumber did not even know what hops were in Hoponius Union. He proudly proclaimed, "Of course I do, It is Centennial and Citranella!"

We have been waiting for 6 years to find a way bring that up in a beer name.

Wouldn't say changed, so much as accellerated a little. We've been working behind the scenes to launch limited distribution throughout our network next year, including with our friends at Remarkable Liquids. When they asked if we could do a run of an NE pale ale, it was a cool opportunity to pilot a new style and do a little preview of things to come in NY. Plus, it gave us an excuse to head to NYC & visit some old friends and new. We'll be hanging and doing preview events in the next few weeks:

11/28 - Spuyten Duyvil NYC, Brooklyn
    11/29- As Is NYC, Manhattan
    11/30- The Rochard NYC, Manhattan
11/30- Alphabet City Beer Co., Manhattan
    12/1- Proletariat, Manhattan
    12/2- Covenhoven, Manhattan
    12/5- Colter Bay, Buffalo
    12/6- Stoneyard Beer Hall, Webster
12/8- The Hollow Kitchen and Bar, Albany
    12/9- Henry Street Taproom, Saratoga

All sorts of one-offs and goodies available at each location.

We'll also be releasing a limited amount of cases of Ain't that Remarkable in the Beer Hall and Barrel Room today. Yes, I'm biased, but I also believe it's fantastic & have been greedily stocking my personal fridge with it for a week. It's hopped with Mosaic, Citra and Vic Secret, & is quite soft and round on the palate while delivering flavors of citrus, tropical fruit and candied melon.

Jesus I can barely wrap my head around that description given that it's labeled an IPL, which I assume means it's hop forward in addition to the coffee, tapioca and lactose...

Maybe the taste evokes what Granny is like early in the morning, which isn't really appealing...

Instantly salivating. I’ll have to check their website but assuming brewery only? Think the last Kellerbier release was as well.

The modern hell and rye kellerbier were both fantastic when I was at the tap room last week.

Please, Jack's Abby, keep the kellers coming.

IMHO: Marzen Keller > Franconian Keller > Rye Keller > Modern Hell

Also nice to see Saxonator make its return to the taps.

    The kellers are coming.

I know about spelt, German porter, and maybe an American Keller

Marzen Keller was my favorite as well.

Has anyone else had the "Hoponious on Holiday"? It has a fantastically fruity nose (a touch of an artificial fruity pebbles sort of note too actually) but since it has the more west coast style mouthfeel it comes across more like fruit soda rather than fruit juice. Not sure I've had anything quite like it before.

I'm more or less digging it.

Springdale’s fresh boysen is fucking incredible. I always see “jammy” get used as a descriptor for sour beers with fruit and this is the first time I actually get that description.

It’s not sour, just a very pleasant subtle tartness and this incredible deep rich fruit flavor. Has a nice seltzery effervescence that keeps it light and drinkable. Ended up with 3 bottles.

Had a rather odd conversation at jacks abbey afterwards...we brought our growler in(that we’ve had for years) and the guy asked if we were returning it. I said I wanted it filled and he said that we have to return the growler and they’ll give us a new one, and that he “would question any brewery that would fill a growler that was brought in”

Isn’t that the whole point of growlers? It’s good enough for Hill Farmstead, trillium, treehouse etc. hell it was good enough for jacks abbey last time I was there.

I didn’t push the subject; it was busy as hell, but I was left perplexed and missing my old school jacks abbey growler. At the end of the day it doesnt matter, just struck me as odd.

They've posted on here before that there's a Board of Health requirement in Framingham (something about washing conditions) that the growlers be swapped out rather than refilled.

Maybe the guy you dealt with assumed that's true everywhere?

Was at the bier hall around 1 today with my little guy - totally packed! We found one chair along the back and posted up for food. Just prior to sitting down a staffer came by and said growlers aren’t allowed in the kitchen; totally understood (I intended to fill it up on the way out) and he took it and said it would be available behind the merch counter. Ended up being handed a new one instead (with the Springdale brand beneath JA). Didn’t think twice about it but now it’s clear the growler-brand-Illuminati have infiltrated the space...

Growler filled with 32 oz of the rye keller and scooped up a four pack on Modern Hell. Can’t wait! Awesome lineup right now.

To top it all off, the rye Keller growler fill I got a few weeks ago was filled in the growler I brought and not a new one. I was kind of pissed because the old growler sat in my basement for 3+yr collecting dust and I knew they had the health code that requires them to give you a clean growler. Rye keller still banged
