Jack's Abby and Lawson's Collaboration

Valley Malt smoked the grain, FYI. Chatted with a Valley Malt employee doing a malt tasting at Craft Beer Cellar a month or two ago (embarrassed to say I don't remember her name), and she alluded to this.

The Collaboration, as well as Lawson's Chinooker'd / Maple Nipple / Fayston Maple Imp Stout, will be pouring this Thursday @ The Dive Bar in Worcester!

 

I wonder if JA will do limits at the brewery for this one.

 

as mentioned in the other thread, this is an 80bbl batch (that would be ~19,000 bottles if all bottled, which it obviously won't be), distributed to only JA's territory, plus an additional smaller batch for VT and Lawsons. i doubt there will be limits, nor will there be any need.

To release this beer we have scheduled 4 joint tap takeovers. 2 in MA this week and 2 in VT June 7/8th. Lawson's is sending 3 beers to each of the events here.

Jack's Abby just doing the damn thing. So hot right now. Love these guys and eagerly anticipating their next DIPL release.

Will be at Dive come Thursday... cant wait to try the collaboration on top of all the lawsons on tap!

God I love JA pricing. $6.50 bomber equivalent for a highly anticipated collaboration using (I'm assuming) expensive maple syrup.
