Happy to report Julios was not a shit show tonight, steady line of people but no wait and got go try all three varieties with Jack. Honestly I think I like the regular Bourbon the best, boozey as hell but that burn is so good. Gonna go well with a cigar later.

After having all 3 over the past 3 nights I think I agree. Regular BA is spectacular. At this point it tastes ally more 'balanced' than the variants

Had BA tonight. Anyone else have comparisons between this and Eclipse Four Roses. Both are and seem very similar to me. I prefer jacks but both close. It has to be the barrels.

No, but I can buy 4 bottles of BA Framinghammer for the price of Eclipse.

I agree and that's why I mentioned this!! I really like the fact it's the same price as the brewery, 8 is what I paid all the way here in NY. I just thought I mention it was similar to the 13 eclipse. That's all.

Completely agree with this, at least as to the vanilla. After sampling the vanilla at Julio's, I actually put back the two bottles of those that I had grabbed and swapped them with the regular. It felt "thin," for lack of a better word, which didn't really jump out at me last year. Sort of like taking a swig from the vanilla extract bottle while making cookies. I haven't tried the coffee yet, but I loved it last year, so I grabbed three of those.

I probably had an even better experience at Julio's than Boomblaze, because I got there after work at around 7:00p and there was no line - just a few people milling around. I figured I was too late, but there were still plenty of bottles to go around.

Jack did mention that vanilla flavor was more pronounced this year even though they put the same amount in.

Went today and the limit was 4 of each  had a flight with both included (along with steam pie & hopstitution) vanilla and coffee were fantastic with coffee having a slight edge.

For those are still interested there is still Coffee and Vanilla available and it should make it through the day.

I thought the Four Roses Eclipse this year was terrible. Thin, watery, & unbalanced. BA Framinghammer blew out out of the water.

What happend to the 2 limit. I didn't go because of that. Booo 20 bucks for the train would have went a little further for 8 bottles then 4.

We panicked a little after Wednesday and wanted to make sure everyone was able to get some. Turns out we overcompensated slightly and we adjusted it back up to 4 this morning. Sorry for the confusion with the constant changes. We learned a lot this year and hope to make next year smoother.

We did not sellout today and there will be more available next week.

I don't think the Vanilla is thin at all, I just think the sweetness/Vanilla taste gives you that impression. I think it's the same big taste with that vanilla taste added, which does change your perception of the base

but all 3 are great no doubt

these things are hard to forecast, especially in a booming business. if you've worked in a startup, you get it, no worries

The brewery was a zoo today holyshit couldn't believe how packed it was around like five. Good for Jacks Abby though the crew was hustling.

Just popped open a coffee. Holy hell this is exceptional. A little thin in the mouthfeel but the coffee and barring aging are fluid. Awesome job!
