Went to Bauer on Newbury St on saturday and they had at least a case of coffee, vanilla and BA left.

 

Is the regular BA framinghammer a once a year release?

 

Yup, still a decent amount on shelves though if you're looking for some.

 

They released it once last year, and once so far this year, but they they are going to release it again this summer, supposedly June.

 

It is generally released once a year, but we had to push back next year's release so we decided to do an extra release this year which will be coming out towards the end of the month. This will also give us the chance to bottle two of the specialties that were growler only this year. We will be releasing 5 bottled BA variants: Regular, Coffee, Vanilla, PB&J and Cocoa-Nut

The next Framinghammer release is slated for next April/May.

 

Can't wait to (hopefully) try the PB&J and Cocoa-Nut ones for sure, and the Vanilla and Coffee!

 

Why do you have to push it further into next year? Some other release will be taking its place?

 

Framinghammer spends over 2 months in the tanks before it goes in barrels and we cannot afford to let it take up tank time during Nov/Dec which is very busy for us.

 

Excited to hear more about the BA Fram release details as soon as they are available....

 

I was at the brewery last week and was told they are going to release the variants on a weekly basis, not in a set.

 

Hmm...too bad it's typically a January release. A boxed set of BA Framinghammer variants with a snifter could make an awesome Christmas present.

 

They're re releasing the end of this month into July because next year the release is in April/May

 

Will the release be only at the brewery? Or will it be distributed?

So if the release is later this month, the bottles I saw on the shelf Saturday are last years? Any thoughts on buying them under those conditions?

I was told by craft beer cellar that they were going to be only at the brewery. Why would they say that

 

We have not yet determined if any will go out for distribution from the new batch. We think that there is enough of each variety that we will be able to send some out, especially since it has only been a few months since the last release, but we are planning as if it will be brewery only.
