    Hi all,

Figured this would be the right place to raise this question. I'll be down in Florida next month, staying on Amelia Island (within striking distance of Jacksonville). It's a family vacation so I won't have the opportunity, as much as I would like it, to visit every brewery in the area, but I'd like to hit 2 or 3. Based on everything I've read, Aardwolf looks like a necessary stop. Does anyone have any input other awesome places to visit in the area (I know we're planning on a side-trip to St. Augustine too). Thanks a bunch!

I think in Jacksonville the 2 must visits are Aardwolf and Intuition...I gotta tell you though the drive from Amelia Island to Jax is a bit of a hike...definitely would not be wanting to do heavy drinking and driving back to Amelia Island especially at night when you are not overly familiar with the area...it's pretty dark out that way at night due to less stuff in the area..be careful

Intuition. Sweet! Yeah, I've got a DD, so I'm set on that front

Green Room and Engine 15 in Jax Beach are worth the trip.

This link can be helpful to choose your destinations. These beer guides are organized by rating.

If you are headed to St. Augustine be sure to stop by JP Henley's, Stogies, and The Floridian. All within walking distance from one another. I had 2 pints of Maple Bacon Coffee Porter at The Floridian today

That's pretty sweet actually. I knew there were place ratings, but not city ratings. Cool stuff! Thanks.

Glad I could help. I use BA's city guides all the time when I travel.

The bar at the Floridian looks right up my alley. Seems like a great place to relax. Thanks!

Broudy's is a nice bottle shop in St. Augustine. You should be able to find some tucked away gems in their back room.
