So I was by Foothills over the weekend and while talking to one of the bartenders she stated that she had heard that they having Jade labels printed so maybe we will be seeing them in bottles sometime soon. She also said not to hold her to this as she is not the marketing person but I am sure hoping over here.

That's weird. I was there the weekend before and both bartenders said there were no plans for Jade to enter distribution any time soon.

Though perhaps with Torch Peoples and Hoppyum moving to six packs that will open up space in the bomber line rotation

this thing needs to either happen, or stop rumoring it. I keep getting my hopes up, but I never see bottles.

Jade does not even have any artwork associated with it. When it is on tap, it just has a black foothills handle.

Plus I have not seen any news about a label approval.

Don't get me wrong....would love for this to happen since I am there on a weekly basis getting a jade growler fill.

I heard it was a go from an employee, but it wasn't Jamie or Whitney.

have never tried it, but I keep hearing good things. But then again I heard good things about Seeing Double and I find it to be mediocre at best...

NC really doesnt do IPAs that well as a whole. Some outliers (Jade, Natty Greene's Freedom IPA, and Death by Hops), but thats it.

He didn't have any other details when I asked him.
Jade > Seeing Double by a lot I think.

I think thatd be a great thing to throw in as like a seasonal/rotating/special release.

Jade could be outstanding, where now IMO it's very good. IMO it needs a better malt back bone, it comes on and smells like ZD then finishes thin. Curious to see what Papa Jade tastes like.
