Very surprised with my first bottle of Jade , to be honest I wasn't expecting much, not that it's bad, not in the least, up and down kinda average ipa though at its worst, really good at its besti. This bottle is far from average, what I'm drinking now is most excellent, great nose nicely fruity, a very high quality ipa, please keep this up, really enjoying this and more than happy to send them out in trades.

If you like fruity IPA's this one will hit the spot, it really is a 1st rate IPA. This batch the Citra really shines thru.

Given that Jade is now bottled, will I have any trouble grabbing a few in Asheville?

I'd bet not it's been widely available .

If you like peppery IPA's, as well. The namesake pacific jade hops add a pepper note, found it to be too strong each time I've tried it.
Just a view from the other end of the spectrum.

I've had Jade for years now and this as Citra forward as I can remember, but like most of Foothills brews every batch seems to be a little different.

I've found it really inconsistent on draft as well, but this first bottled batch was great! Now if only they'd put it in 6-packs....

This bottling is definitely a home run, hope it stays that way.

Dang home boy, they have bottled it !!! Not satisfied with bombers, now you want 6 packs too ??? Surely you jest. Everyone I know of has been waiting impatiently for it to be bottled and you whine about it not being in 6 packs ?? Let me guess, you love Natty Greene's beerz too ?

I opened my first bottle last night and it was amazing! Much better than I remember it being.

I also just tried it for the first time. I reviewed it 0.01 higher than NoDa Hop Drop. Foothills should enter this into competitions - it is World Class.

The Jade is excellent, but on another note the Stars and Bars are interesting. May be the best use of that flag since it was lowered down the flag pole in Columbia, or at Pickett's Charge! Sorry, I'm an ole Confederate and pride made me say it. That is a southern girl.

Drinking my last bottle now...... The only ipa I've had better IMO is the Enjoy By. But I don't ever have any trade bait for some of the sought after IPAs. My bottle shop is still fairly new so maybe in the future I can have some worthy trades.

Sure you do... You can likely find NoDa Hop, Drop & Roll as well as Foothills Jade, Foothills IPA of the Month, and Foothills Sexual Chocolate here in NC.

I've not even caught a glimpse of hop drop and roll I've been dying to try it though and a "friend" wouldn't sell me any sexual chocolate. I can get Jade easy though but are people really wanting it? It's an amazing brew but I didn't know it was on everyone's list.

I traded Hop Drop 1:1 cans of HT, so there is demand. I put one or so Into most trades as xtras. Spreading the word.
