Jai Alai can date code

    This may be a dumb question, but is the date on the bottom of the can the drink by date or the day it was bottled? I found some today that had a date on the bottom of over 2 weeks ago, and with the amount of beers i've been seeing lately that were very old I didn't risk it. Does anyone know for sure which date this is?

    I'm sure it's not the day it was bottled...since it was canned :wink:

    The dates on CCB's bottles are the bottling date, not a best-by date. I think it's safe to assume the same strategy is on the cans. Plus, I don't think they've been canning long enough for any of them to be past their best-by date anyway.

    The date is definitely the date they were canned...
