I get floaties in almost all of my Jai Alai these days. No big deal to me.

Digging up this old thread. I just poured my Jai Alai that had sediment in it. Frankly, I "think" it may have been a little less bitter than usual. Not a bad thing in my book. Either way, it was delicious as always.

I thought they had gotten better with that, but I guess not. What was the can dated?

Happens occasionally, always tastes the same to me though. Now Humidor IPA in a can...those were a lot of freakin floaties!

Dry hops typically. Anyone ever see what Heady looks like in a glass? Plenty of floaties. Since they changed house yeast a few years back, Jai Ali clears very nicely.

The more you dry hop, the more risk of floaties you'll get. Agreed, Heady does have a ton of floaters in every can. I think it contributes to the flavor instead of detracts from it.

BTW, Conan yeast is frigging delicious. I'm not too confident in it's attenuation yet, but I love the apricot flavor profile thrown off by that yeast. I'm glad I made slants of it when I pitched it in my last imperial IPA.

Hah, no idea. I'm already on my next 6 pack. It was a recent batch though.

Think of it as pulp. It's a Florida beverage thing.

I prefer pulp in my Jai Alai and floaties in my OJ.
