Jai Alai for heady

If you think Jai Alai is too malty you best avoid Hop Drop!

I agree though that Jai Alai and HT are in a different class. I believe HT stands on its own. Every time I go a few months without having it, I think to myself "it can't possibly be as good as I remember it. It's just another one of those beers others or myself have hyped to death." But every time I retry HT I prove myself wrong and exhibit some form or another of audible ecstasy.

And finally, to actually answer OP's question, the only way I see this trade getting done is if you find a VT local, because HT can land you a hell of a lot more than Jai Alai, or alternately, one can get Jai Alai for a whole lot less, and I think most would agree it's not worth the travel and general effort to trade HT for Jai Alai. Of course, the areas where HT are sold in VT are pretty close to the NY border so I think it may be kind of difficult to make this trade. Best of luck.

 

To each his own, but if you think Jai Alai is malty, I'm pretty sure we're drinking a different beer w/the same name. I love both, though I'd give the nod to Heady by a nose.
