As for taste not too much for jai alai, but WTF happen to tocobaga . It sure doesnt taste the same at all, and it was one of my favorites. If they tweaked the recipe they need to go back to what it tasted about a year ago. I bought a 6pk dated 3/13/14 and it just isnt the same and it hasnt been for a whyle. :-(

Where did you get this tocobaga? I haven't seen it around Orlando since January.

I had some Tocobaga from a mid-March batch and it was the bees knees as usual. Maybe your palate changed.

I don't regularly get Jai Alai (not diisto-ed here) so it was probably 6 months between 6 packs but one thing I did notice was different was that the first 6 pack I got (sent from Florida) when poured in a glass looked like there were 1000 sea monkeys floating in it. The recent batch I got from NYC was completely clear with zero sediment. Both were great but I kinda missed the sea monkeys. Did something change in the production process or did I just get a weird batch the first time around?

They use a centrifuge thingy contraption to clean the jai alai... The weird mess of tubing designed by a madman.

Just had some dated 3 days old (mid-March) and it was fantastic. I've been drinking nothing but IPAs and DIPAs but it has single-handedly expanded my beerizon.

Its still alright but to me it just isnt the same as i remember. Maybe it is just my palate changing Wich sucks cause i use to love the shit out of tocobaga. I'd still buy it though... lol

Tocobaga is the same great beer it was when it was created years ago. Love that stuff.

For me the difference in taste seems to be the freshness of the beer. I try to buy it when we get new shipments in my area, which are usually about a week after it was canned. A week old it is super citrusy and fresh. It is amazing! The taste seems to change quite a bit after the beer is a month old. (from same 6 pack as week old can) The citrus quality fades quite rapidly to me. Still a great beer a month old, just not near as citrusy!

Can the next Catador membership include 'member-only' day fresh Jai Alai sales... Limit (2) 6pks on the day its canned, and only on the day its canned

I can't speak for Jai Alai but I had a '13 Zhukov last night (Zhukov is probably my favorite Cigar City beer and one of my favorite beers period) and I thought it tasted kinda disappointing and had a weird metallic aftertaste.

I put a stopper on it and am drinking the rest now today. It's fantastic and everything I remember it to be when I loved it the first time.

    So yeah...palates are weird.

That is weird. I had one random odd date out of all the MZ I consumed and it tasted a little weird to me but other people tasting it for the first time thought it was good.

Has anyone in Ga seen anything dated during the month of March? All I can find is February dates. What is going on with spotty distribution?
