Are all of these going statewide or is Houston going to have to wait for Dallas and Austin disti before we get our hands on some brews?

    No.

Alesmith will just be in DFW.

Knee Deep will just be in Austin and SA (until later this year).

It really just depends on the beer.

Thanks, man. That's a little more than frustrating knowing these are in the state and I can't get my hands on them. C'est la vie I suppose.

ABV testing has not matched with the percentage on the labels. That's the rumor I've heard anyway.

By the time they get label approved, they will have to get their license renewed to even sell here. Frustrating I am sure...

Anyone know if Prairie changed their Bomb labels?? I picked up two at total wine yesterday and it had a green label with a dude wearing a "beer-helmet". Nowhere on the label did it say that it was a different variant....

I saw a few cases at a total wine in San Antonio that had a different label as well. Can't remember the details, but there was no indication it was a variant.

Yeah me neither, thats why I was a little confused. and since I was in a hurry, I didn't have time to ask someone. I just hope that I grabbed the wrong ones as they were for a trade!

My wife picked up a bomb at a Total Wine in Austin and I was also confused by the green label. I've been meaning to take a picture and post it here for months. I looked up label approvals and couldn't find that label for Bomb!, but it clearly says that's what it is. I want to say the ABV is different than the original label and also the coffee is not mentioned at all or at least not as prominently as the huge Nordaggio's name it normally says. I couldn't find any information on their website or anything. I was considering picking up a regular label one to try side by side just to see if there's any difference.

My understanding is the new label also involved a recipe tweak. I haven't had any yet, but I've heard from reliable sources it's noticeably better.

Damn...if thats the case, then hopefully my trader is ok with receiving it. I guess it falls on me for not double checking. looks like i'll have to find two of the "old labels" to send out.

The old labels are still readily available. I saw some yesterday at Sunset Mini Mart on W Anderson, and I've seen them I think at Twin Liquors 41st street as well.

I just hope that my trader doesn't think too much into the "label". If its the same beer, then it shouldn't be an issue...should it?
