I'm coming to the DFW area in a few days and was curious if JK distributes any of their larger bottles (i.e. Atrial Rubicite, RU-55, etc.) or if they're only available at their taproom. I'd love to make the drive to Austin, but something tells me I'm going to be SOL since I'm mainly visiting family and it'll be a 3 hour drive from where I'm staying...

Atrial is brewery only. RU-55, Boxer's, Funk metal, and Ol' Oi! came out a month or two ago in kind of limited supply 1-2 months ago. I don't live in Dallas so not sure if there's any left or what the supply was even like to begin with.

In Austin it was somewhat hard to find any of the sours really.. Atrial is only at the brewery like stated above. I really think you're going to have a hard time finding any of the sours on a shelf, but I could be wrong.

I'd try to make the trip to Austin.

I don't think you'll find any sours on the shelf. MAYBE Ol Oi... certainly not RU-55, Boxers, or Atrial (all brewery-only for now). Funk Metal made it to a few shelves in ATX last round, but I'm not sure if it made it up to Dallas.

Boxer's & Funk Metal made it to a bar here in Waco but they went pretty fast even with the higher price tag. Friend up in Dallas told me he saw both those up there but they have to be gone by now. Remembering now that RU-55 did not make it to shelves. Ol Oi set on the shelf for a while here but it's gone now and there's certainly less demand for JK beers here.

i have seen funk metal, ol oi,boxers and ru-55 randomly in heb and specs here in houston. its very random and its never a huge shipment. it used to be easier to get in stores but as the craft beer movement grows in texas you really have to keep your eyes open.

Give Lonestar Beverages a call, if anybody in Dallas has any Jester King it's probably them. They're a great place to check out if you're in the Dallas area.

Well, I'm definitely not going to be able to make it down to the brewery, and for some reason I don't have "sufficient privileges" to post in the In Person trading forum. So, I've got a bottle of Alewerks Bitter Valentine and a bottle of Hardywood Bourbon Ginger Bread Stout that I could bring down from VA. Would anyone in the DFW area be interested in either of these in exchange for an Atrial Rubicite and/or RU-55? I'm pretty new to trading, but if you're interested in $4$ the Bourbon GBS was 22 and the BV was 16. But the Bourbon GBS was in very limited quantity this year since they lost about 7,800 beers in a spill, if that makes any difference. Anybody out there want to hook a guy up?

If I was in DFW I would be all over this. I'm sure this gets done easily.

If I was in Dallas, I would not hesitate on that either. I won't be up there though...nor do I know anyone driving up there over the next couple of days.

I'm going to be in Austin Feb 4-7 and of course Jester King will be closed the entire time I'm there. Looking for 1-3 bottles of Atrial Rubicite for an IP trade and have all the bcs variants and a lot more. Anyone wants to work something out let me know.

I'll be near the convention center, what's the bar or bars to hit for local craft?
