How do I know if my bottle is the original black metal or the farmhouse black metal?
Above where it says Black Metal, it'll say FARMHOUSE
OG on the right, Farmhouse on the Left.
I completely forgot that there used to be a separate sticker on the bottles for the brewery name.
Thats the first thing I look for when I find a older store with a lot of Black Metal. I have fished an OG bottle out of a sea of Farmhouse bottles once. It was a great day.
mmmmmmmmmmm OG Black Metal!
Saddens me to think ill probably never try an OG BM again.
Yep, they made there money off of and kicked it to the curb.
I think there are still several cases of OG Black Metal sitting by the front windows at Specs Brodie. They should be done cooking by now.....
My local HEB still has original Wytchmaker... Pretty sad
I saw a few bottles on the shelf at the Specs in Webster. They also have a few cans of Oskar Blues Gordon.
I haven't seen 'em the last few times I've gone. I think they either got sold or distributed to other stores.
When was this? I go in there at least once a week while I'm home and I never see any Black Metal.
the last few non farmhouse bms i found recently in houston were at the specs warehouse store across the street from hay merchant.
I'm glad I picked up a case before the Farmhouse BM was released.
I'm still finding OG Black Metal at various Specs/HEBs in Houston. Guess I better stock up.
