Jester King Bottles at Local Option Saturday

Helluva weekend at Local Option with JK on Saturday and the Pipeworks BA collab event on Friday

 

Just say this, didnt realize Jester King bottles showed up in Illinois on occasion, or are we possibly getting distro from them soon?

 

Looks like Local Option purchased the bottles themselves, and they're only for on site drinking only..so this is a one off chance it appears.

 

We had a similar thing happen in Portland last year for Saraveza's Farmhouse Festival. Just a one-off shipment.

 

Why didn't they buy the good bottles? only 25% interested..

 

Not so sure about that. Beer temple just posted they have jester king in stock. Not sure if this is a one off or not though

 

Someone asked on Twitter, and they said that it will hopefully be "somewhere in between" a one-off and consistent shipments.

Either way, great news for a city starting to have a pretty impressive sour collection!

 

Talked with Beer Temple and they said other stores (Binnys was mentioned) will be getting it in the coming weeks.

 

Plenty of the bottles listed are quite good.

It would be incredibly unrealistic to expect them to ship out any of their fruited sours though, most of them are batches of ~1,000 bottles that sell out at the brewery in a single day.

 

Maybe @jesterkingbeer can chime in as to the regularity of shipments to Illinois?

 

Did these sell out immiediately at Beer Temple? i see Binnys LP is the only store getting any....guessing they're flying off shelves.....

 

Based on Beer Temples tweets yesterday, it sounded like Chicago should probably expect semi-regular shipments from Jester King. Not sure on frequency, but was stated somewhere in-between "one time" and "regular" ..

 

Yeah, I stopped by a couple hours after the tweet and there wasn't a single thing left.

 

Because only the fruited sours are good....or did you mean valuable?
