jester King collaborations

I hate to burst your bubble bud but its highly unlikely that those bottles were sold here. Jester king just doesn't have a big enough name outside of the south to get picked up by the quebec run liquor store "the SAQ" and I've never seen them there. Corner stores and grocery stores in Quebec can only sell macros and Quebec Micro brewery brands with the exception of beau's from Ontario and they went through hell to be allowed to sell here.

 

We got a bunch of Petite Princesse in Alberta, all over the shelves still.

 

La Petite Princesse has been on a lot of bottle lists at the better beer bars in Toronto, for a while. I don't think it was ever available in retail in Ontario though, except through special order from an importer. I'll try and figure out who the importer was (Volo?). Sounds like an Alberta BA may be your best bet though considering the above post. As an aside, I really enjoyed the bottle I had.

Because Amicus Magicus was brewed at Dunham, I'm sure a Quebec based BA will be able to help you out. I don't think it was available for sale outside of Quebec (at the brewery?), but could be wrong.

Wouldn't say a bunch, Alberta got 22 cases, the importer here. I am going to Jester King next week but probably the week after. So to the guy who started this thread from Texas. If an in person trade is what you are thinking beer mail me privately can't help out on the Dunham colab though. I was planning bringing down some of the Petite Princess for the Jester King crew any way.

 

Magicus was pretty readily available from what I recall. I only bought one and drank it though.
