For what it's worth, St Anger definitely has a novelty factor going for it. That snare...

And all of the recent JK collaborations have been great, so it's unfair to compare it to St Anger lol but all I was saying was don't compare Multifarious, Interscetion, etc... to Atrial, MvB and other fruited sours, which is what some earlier posters seemed to be doing. It don't make sense.

My favorite beer from JK is Snorkel. It pairs seamlessly with seafood every single time. Very glad it's brewing again. Nice work Jeff!

You realize, of course, that taste is 100% subjective. Even if you don't like a beer, it is exactly as good as each individual thinks it is.

It is this type of dogma that makes casual beer drinkers refer to all of us as pretentious snobs. It is elitist and condescending to pretend your opinion holds any value to anyone but yourself.

Before this thread gets locked, I'm gonna say this. The best collaboration JK has ever made was Buddha's Brew. It's even held up amazingly well after two years.

Also, I did not see this thread going this far south. Jeff brew what you want to brew. Consumers, buy what you want to buy.

I guess I missed where he said his opinion was the end all, be all. So, we cant have opinions any more? Jester King says they love a specific beer while alot of others aren't big fans of it. That goes back to your point about taste being subjective.

I quoted it in bold. Telling someone something isn't as good as they think is laughably arrogant.

    Whaaaaaaa

As long as everyone in this long thread is throwing around their opinions as facts: Drink'in The Sunbelt was the best JK collab ever. Honestly it's one of my all time favorite JK beers at all. I want that beer to be made again all the time. And I want cases of it.

Exactly. I like founder's , but not all of their beers, especially rubaeus, but obviously someone likes it because they keep making it.

Just curious, what have you made recently that people are lining up to buy?

How is this relevant to the discussion? He doesn't like a beer Jester King brews, I don't think he's claimed to do anything better than Jester King. He was more emphatic in stating his dislike for the beer, but honestly I think that stems from the condescending attitude some people have taken in this thread, if you dare think every JK beer brewed isn't quite possibly the best beer they've ever brewed.

I had Audio Pallete on the brain. Nice catch, though. On a website where a third of the users seemingly don't use punctuation or capitalization, an English less is always appreciated. And if you want to be that guy, don't apologize for it. Own it.

Why, because people don't think everything brewed by JK is the tits? And for the record
    Coquetier was delicious

That would make 2 of us! I LOVED Drink'in The Sunbelt and wished it was a year round. Bought that by the case when I could and drank the crap out of it.

@jesterkingbeer Please keep doing what you're doing! Y'all make some of the best beer I've ever had, and I love supporting a local brewery (by local I mean in Texas) that fills a void I miss from my Wisconsin breweries like New Glarus Brewing Co. that continue to push the boundaries of what beer is and can be. I, for one, would be all for more nuanced and subtle beers. I think that is part of what made Drink'in The Sunbelt so awesome; it wasn't this blow you out of the water, in your face beer, it was subtle, nuanced, and quite frankly all around delicious in every way.
