    It was my favorite beer from the Big Texas Beer Fest. It was not a juniper bomb and there didn't seem to have much smoke left.

    I figure there'd be little to no smoke, but not a juniper bomb is interesting. Good to hear that it's good though. Definitely want it.

    Anyone know of any place that has Funk Metal in Houston? Went by Smith St Specs and they just ran out.

    Call over to D&Q he usually has a good stock of jester king and right around the corner from Spec's Smith st.

    So, its my B-Day tomorrow and I was planning on going to the Saturday tour and tasting and invited a few of my friends to do the same. They are all paying the $10, but I know that some of them will probably not drink much of the samples since they are more into commercial type lagers. Do any of you know if JK allows any outside beer into their tastings? I wouldn't want any of my friends to feel left out.

    there are alot of options at stanley's which include some of the more popular BMC alternatives such as firemans #4 if I can recall correctly
