Well... Hearing this sucks... As some who has visited JK close to 30 times, it would be pretty crappy to miss out on this beer cause I can't make it out this weekend. For the record, I just want a bottle or two. I think a general 1 case limit on "unlimited" beers from now on would be beneficial.

High probability you won't get skunked dude, but in the event that happens, let me know and I've got you covered.

I had an 8 ounce pour and loved it. Bought 2 bottles for myself and one for each of two out-of-state friends. Keep up the good work JK, this shit is delicious.

I appreciate the sentiment. However, upon reviewing this thread and thinking about the ideas expressed, I think I may be in favor of a 1 or 2 case limit even for beers that technically have no bottle limit. We'll see. - Jeff

Personally I like this beer better out of the bottle than out of the cask. Which is convenient because there's no cask to go.

Went today and got a couple bottles. This is a great beer for the summer!

Everyone has gone nuts for all the special release fruit sours this year (and deservedly so), but my understanding is that the vision @jesterkingbeer has for this line is that they are plentiful seasonal releases rather keeping them ultra rare and limited with crazy release parties. This is just the initial year of a multiyear plan. You see how the property has evolved and the 200% expansion of the barrel room and it's easy to see they want to make visiting @jesterkingbeer both relaxing and rewarding for all types of people. It's awesome to see businesses with such a laser focused vision succeeding!

Just as one other side point, and then I'll back away from this conversation - this is NOT a beer that should be aged. Mint and watermelon flavors will fade quickly, so the idea of buying bottles to put away for any length of time would be foolish. Buy enough to drink over the next few months, but please don't try to age this beautiful beer. You'll miss out on something special.

And I'll echo @Theortiz01 's sentiment - if anyone completely misses out on this and needs 1, I'll take care of you. It's beer, and should be shared.

    Cheers!

Pretty simple: supply and demand. If people wanna buy cases of this beer, fine by me. People must really love it then. I wont get hurt if I dont get some.

Say for example, instead of this brewery, it was Buffalo Bayou selling out every weekend. Would i care? No. Are there people out there that would get shut out of beer still? Yes. And im sure BBB has its fanboys too that love their beer.

People can buy all the Encendia and Salt Lick they want. Im not complaining when $23 bottles of FW 17 hit town like everyone else.

Pay to play. You want the beer, get it. Simple as that. Whether it be 1 bottle limit or 1000

Wow, this is easily one of the top saisons I've been able to try. Very herbal that goes great with the farmhouse funk. Just tart enough for me, but I don't get any watermelon.

I get the sense that there will be a different blend of herbs and fruit each year, based on whats available.

I do. I get that ugly feeling in my gut, like when you lose something really important. It seriously gives me anxiety.

And I will also be having someone pick me up a few bottles :-)
