Jester King near Dallas

Yup. I've heard 3 complaints from retailers that getting JK from Flood is difficult. 2 of which weren't previously getting JK. 1 retailer who was getting JK before Flood and with Flood was really offended by them and could not get the most recent release, Provenance OG. I relayed that its super limited.

 

I saw Mad Meg and Le Petit Prince when I was at a Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids, IA, of all places, but we can't get JK in anywhere outside of Austin for the most part.

 

Found this thread looking for Dallas based bottle shops and had to chime in and say they have MM & LPP on the shelf in Iowa City most of the time. Sounds like the bottle shop scene in Dallas still needs some time?

 

My money is on those bottles being quite old at this point.

Dallas still gets JK via Flood, but the drops are infrequent; has nothing to do with the bottle shop scene.

 

That is most likely old stock. We still have those in Laredo, too. They're just long gone in Dallas, I'm sure.

I found some vintage JK in Fort Worth at Kings on Berry. The LPP had solid caps, and the MM had no batch date. I thought they had some NK, but I can't remember. I even got the last bottle of Censored. So if vintage JK is your thing check that place out.

 

Metzler's off teasley in Denton has mad meg, black metal, Das wunderkind, censored and commercial suicide.

 

I hope @Daemose is reading this right now. He might just buy up all the vintage BM and CS.

I think Craft and Growler (about 5 minutes east of 35 in Downtown Dallas) had some Das Wunderkind when I was there last night.
