So you assume they only have 500 bottles of this and no kegs? They were pouring Atrial while selling bottles. I guarantee they have kegs of the stuff.

I'm getting really sick of this mentality in the SW forums. Too much talk about hoarding and getting beers for trade bait.

So if all 350 people with tickets got a bottle of each, that would leave 150 bottles worth of each beer to be poured at the event, which breaks down to roughly one 6-ounce pour of each beer for each ticket holder.

How can you guarantee? Remember, the kegs were blend two of Atrial Rubicite. There weren't any kegs of blend one.

Jester King hasn't once said that the only amount of this beer they have is 500 bottles worth. I'm gonna bet they have 500 bottles that are ready to be sold and kegs of the beer available for the Funk n Sour fest.

I think this means no kegs:

I personally like the multiticket option (aka include the price of beer in the ticket), Jeff could easily make the VIP ticket a bit more expensive and gain more cash back on price per bottle. If you raise the ticket price high enough you can weed out some of the mules and at least cushion the blow from any parking lot deals.

But if they are doing the same number of tickets as they did last year then there wouldn't be any worry about not getting bottles, thus no need for VIP tickets. Other then wanting to spend more money I'm not sure what your desire is for a VIP ticket. There should be less mules for an event regardless because the mule would have to buy a ticket for the event and mules generally don't pay for stuff so that's already an extra expense for the mule owner(?).

I haven't actually ever traded before, mostly because I'm still new at this and have yet to come across anything worth trading yet, aside from my three bottles of Atrial Rubicite, at least two of which I'll be keeping for myself, the first of which I'm opening next week. I'm just glad I'll finally get something good like this.

Couldn't it just mean no 750 ml bottles?

I'm for whatever plan keeps people (Read: douchebags) from hoarding this just to turn around and trade it all over the place.

Never been to a bottle shop? Plenty of tradeable beers in Tx.

I don't see why there can't be two ticket options. If you don't want floorseats don't pay for them and buy nosebleeds. Same thing. It's just a way to pay up front. Simple. Get it over with at the same time so you don't have to worry about it day of.

There may also be people who would just like the beer, and are unable to attend the whole festival. There are always many variables to consider, and Jeff and Ron will do what they think is best.

Speculation days before the information is to come out is pretty humorous.

I hope I get to drink some of these beers, that is all.

Yeah I think we are past having our thoughts heard, the decision has been made at this point. I don't care how they do it, I just hope I get a ticket and hope I get a bottle of each. However that happens I am in!

there isnt, and i didnt make that distinction. im trying to separate the people that want bottles and those that dont with cost in mind. 3 separate levels of tickets, those that want bottles, those that just want to attend the festival and those that are DDs.

take on the freetail system with wristbands, once you buy your bottles, your wristband gets cut off and you are now a normal non bottle buying attendee.

I'm sure there are, but it hasn't been something I've focused on yet. If you'd like to provide me with a list of the kinds of beers in TX that would be tradable, that would be great.
