I was interested in trading for the Jester King/Mikkeller Rodeo Collaborations: Beer Geek, Weasel, Whiskey.

Not sure what it would take to trade for those or are people hoarding them?

Wasn't too much made... they are arguably the top 3 beers made in Texas, so it might take a lot.

    I'll argue that.

I will say that Beer Geek can't be easy to find. Same with Whiskey. But Weasel is all over the place.

Will say I traded Beer Geek 1:1 for a BA Yeti, and the Whiskey and Weasel I got went in a trade including beers like RareR DOS, Imperial Sweet Stout, BA Big Sound, amongst others. Hope that helps.

Agreed with FUNK. The Weasel was all over the shelves when I was down there. I got a Whiskey easy enough, but I still haven't gotten a Beer Geek. If the OP gets taken care of, and someone has an extra Beer Geek to trade, I'm sure we could work something out.

Also add, I believe the original retail prices were 16,99 for the Beer Geek, 14,99 for Weasel, and something absurd like 20 for the Whiskey. It was a while ago, so I may be off a little.

Might be absurd for Texas, but everywhere else that is the norm. Unless it wasn't a 750ml bottle.

    Thanks for the insight guys.

I say absurd, because most expensive JK beers are priced in line with Boxer's Revenge at 16,99. Not absurd compared to other BA beers, especially 750s, just JK.

Yeah, I have some in my fridge that I sip from time to time. Damn good coffee.

I drank all of mine, or sent them to trade partners. They were yummy.

I had 1 Whiskey left over, and just traded it recently for a Flanders Fred.

I might trade a Beer Geek Rodeo for the right beer. I only have 1 though, so it would have to be good.

Not sure if the whiskey barrel version was infected or just terrible, I do know of several bottles being drainpoured.

I drank my last Whiskey a few weeks ago and it tasted great. It's not the best, but it's good. First I've heard of possible infection.

I agree...we did a blind tasting of 5 BA Stouts and this one came in last for all of the tasters. I don't think it was infected, but there was a burnt flavor that was pretty overwhelming (and palate wrecking).

For what it 's worth I've thoroughly enjoyed several Whiskey Barrel Rodeos and this is the first I've heard of any "infection"...
