    Hey all -

I have a bunch of Jester King bottles coming my way. I have no intention of aging them for "aging" purposes, but I will be opening them up periodically based on when I want to open them up (they are special, hard to come by, etc -- which is usually how I determine when I drink rare beers).

I know they are all un-pasteurized, unfiltered, bottle conditioned, etc, but I guess I'm still wondering if they hold up well over time? Or is it just like any other Belgian esque beer and it will develop over time and change and such. Any help is appreciated!

    cheers

Most hold up and IMO improve over time. Which beers in particular?

My buddy who lived in Austin for the summer Is moving back to the northeast, so I asked him to grab some for me. He got me 7 bottles (one of each when available on 7/5), so that includes commercial suicide, le petit prince, provenance lemon lime, provenance graphics fruit, dad wanderkind, vernal dichotomous, and nocturn chrysalis. Pretty pumped to say the least!

Nice, I would enjoy the Nocturn sooner than later. The Dichotomus' develop well, even over a short 6 month period. Das Wunderkind is fun to let age. Drink it fresh though and see what it tastes like. Those sit around for a while so anyone can get you more. Provenances are great. Fruitier fresh of course, but worth aging as well to let it funk up more.
