Figured it was about time to start a new thread so people do not have to sift through the many pages on sightings that have already come and gone.

Looking for sightings of Das Wunderkind (I noticed it was on the board for Saturday's tour) and I assume Funk Metal and the new Saison are more than a month+ away but any information is welcome (potential dates, bottle counts, etc). Also feel free to shout out locations for remaining bottles of past releases, I'll kick it off with 4-5 bottles of Weasel remain at Central Market Fort Worth and a case+ of Boxer's at King's on Berry.

Did I miss Das Uberkind or is that one still at the brewery?

Can not wait for the Buddha's Brew! Sounds amazing!! And the artwork is kick ass, as always! Any anticipated dates for hitting the shelves in Austin?

What delays you may have are more than offset by case load

Fort Worth and Arlington got 3-4 of Bonnie and Whiskey (Halls, CM Fort Worth, Whole Foods Arlington, and I can assume CM Southlake) cases in total. Two of those stores never have bottle limits, so it probably worked out a few dozen people in Tarrant nabbed some. I know I tackled a toddler or two on my way into CM.....I mean....uh I gently placed the palm of my hand on the face of a child or two in such a kind way that I am now considered the Dalai Lama of Fort Worth on my pilgrimage to the land of Wine and Beverage.

EDIT:The whole reason I started another thread was to avoid having a thread with 100+ pages in 2 months. The hope would be that the old thread is retired (if only BA gave the OP lock down privilages), so people don't have to wade through old sightings to get up-to-date info.

For you Dallas folks - I was messing around on the Total Wine website and they had Beer Geek, Weasel, and Bonnie available for purchase and in store pick-up...not sure how up to date their online ordering system is but thought I'd put it out there.

Eh, I was there Saturday, and they didn't have any of those. I specifically asked about Bonnie, & the guy said he'd check the back...but no dice. They might have gotten it since, though.

If you are talking Total Wine and More, I would say severely out of date. They still had plenty of Weasel as of last week, but the Bonnie and especially Beer Geek are long, long gone.

Their beer dept needs to step it up big time. I have yet to speak to anyone walking around aimlessly, that has been the slightest bit of help when looking for beer. Their liquor and wine people know their stuff, I dont understand why beer is being treated like the stepchild there.

I really want to like this place...

Anybody heading to JK instead of Freetail to taste this?

Bryan Flowers is their Beer Specialist and knows his stuff. He works quite a bit, so if you ask for him when you're there, you have about a 60-70% chance of him being there.

My understanding is that he is the first beer specialist they have ever hired company wide, so I know they're TRYING to focus more on this.

When I was living in Florida, the state of Total Wine's beer selection was appalling. Literally no order to the place whatsoever. Is Dallas like that? Because it made me extremely annoyed every time I went in the door.

pretty much the same, they organize by style, and then just toss everything into that area. I hate total wine "system"

I have a bottle of Boxers Revenge. Should I drink it now or put it in the cellar?

I drank a batch 1 recently (guess that's 4-5 months on it). It was amazing. Batch #2 bottles have been less tart, more carb and the barrel pokes its head out sooner

I'm new to Jester King, but wouldn't drinking half and keeping the other half for longer than a day just turn it into a flat mess?
