    I've asked at Specs in SA and was told IDK. In addition the beer guy wasn't even aware of the Drinkin release... Hopefully it will be in SA soon but luckily was able to have some at The Saucer.

    I promised to get an out-of-town friend a bottle of Boxer's and I am going crazy trying to find this stuff. As best I can tell it hasn't hit Dallas at all yet. Anyone know otherwise?

    Ya, I looked like a dummy asking the guys at the downtown specs. They all said "no, we haven't had boxers in 2 months" they were completely unaware of its recent release.

    The distributor here seems to be behind schedule. Central Market has Boxer's, but not Sunbelt. Gabriel's will hopefully receive both sometime next week.

    I expected my delivery last week, when I asked why it didn't come in, I was told most of the SA stores would be getting shipments next week because more was ordered than was available and they decided to set allocations rather than ship 1st come 1st serve. Not sure why they didn't have allocations set already since that is how Virtuoso (the distributor) has handled it in the past.

    I went there over the weekend....how on earth could anyone find anything in that store. I was a bit pissed to see June bottling of Endeavour when Fort Worth is sitting on tons of March though.

    I'll have Kings and Whole Foods scoped shortly.

    I just stopped at Spec's Dallas and talked with their "beer guy," he said that whoever was the rep for the distributor of Jester King has changed, got the new person's contact info, called and sent an email, and supposedly this new person is going to be meeting with the beer guy on either Wednesday or Thursday. Spec's guy then said he should know what the Spec's allotments are for Boxer's and Drinkin'. They make it such a hassle to get good beer.

    As it was told to me, the delay is due to allocation issues. For example my store requests 2 and 2. Heard that someone pretty high up on the food chain stepped in the ensure more even distribution (something I have to say I don't mind at all). Being told tommorow, sounded pretty sure.

    Anyone popped a batch 2 of Boxers yet? I drank a batch 1 a week or so ago..it's just becoming a tart beast. I actually enjoy the low carbonation..i don't know...the mix of flavors came across to me quite a bit easier than a foam blocky saison. It really was a joy to drink. 2 more batch ones left. Going to have a batch 2 tommorow with salmon on parchment paper with a whole bunch of citrus added.
