The guy who works for Virtuoso in DFW quit without notice and totally Effed all of DFW... that's the rumor anyway :sunglasses:. They should be in stores tomorrow or Thursday, another workerbee from Virtuoso is coming to take care of us.

Are you into wine? I believe Jester King is the only beer they distribute. If you still have interest I would contact them through their webpage http://www.virtuososelections.com/index.cfm?pid=1

    Best of Luck!

Okay, I am going to have a buddy pick some up in Austin if possible. Any tips on where I should sent him? He doesn't know much about the beer scene.

Thanks for the info man. Just looked it up and its 50 minutes from my house; that is a tough pill to swallow. I'll probably have to wait and see if it hits Dallas this week first.

As was stated earlier, the distributor is bogged down with orders and they're trying to figure out the allotments. Keep in mind, Virtuoso is a relatively small wine vendor that doesn't have to deal with limited beer releases on a regular basis like Ben E Keith does. And in the case of San Antonio, they have a new Specs and an enormous new HEB to factor into their allotments. Hopefully Boxers and Sunbelt will be more available statewide by the end of the week, but we'll see.

Definately more pronounced. This bottle opened with a good fizz, a little formation in the bottle. Poured with very little head into riedell wine glasses. Good amount of carbonation lingers on the glass with every sip and is noticeable in mouth.

Both my GF and I think all the flavors are there but ramped up from batch 1. More tart to start, stronger bourbon and funk at the end.

Short answer - sip away, good times await!

Cheers all! Off to brag on Late Night Beer Advocate

Whole Foods 6th Austin had roughly 3.5 cases assuming the cases I grabbed the bottles from were all Boxers, as is their MO. Left side outside of the beer cooler. Snagged two so presumably no limit? They also had the Maui JP collab and Brux. Saw no Sunbelt. Also plenty of LA-NB collab. This was at 10 PM.

I hope this hits Houston soon. I'm tired of waiting.

The Central Market at 45th and Lamar has Boxer's still, didn't see Sunbelt.

Went to Specs Round Rock just now. Plenty of Drinkin and Boxers left, and they even still have some Brux. Also 6-packs and singles of Maui/JP collab

I wasn't a big fan of either of them. Brux was just missing something and the Maui had too much of it....maybe taste is the word I'm looking for. I would like to try the JP version though.

I havent tried the Maui version, but have heard from several people I trust that the JP version is significantly better. Apparently this was the case with the NB/Lost Abbey collab as well (LA being much better), which makes me feel like we keep getting the short end of the stick on these collaborations! :slight_frown: I wasn't a huge fan of Brux either, but I'm going to age 1 a year (since I bought 2) and see what happens with it.

I stopped in to both Total Wine & More and Spec's in Dallas and still no Boxer's or Drinkin'. I called Central Market Dallas and they said they haven't gotten anything yet either. Really hoping this stuff gets to Dallas, otherwise I'll be making a trip to Kings in Fort Worth this weekend.
