I may be as asshole but I do have some good ideas now and then.

I was saying "be friendly" as a signature to my posts for a while, I might switch to "hoarders suck balls"

I have zero problems with this. I just don't want to spend $30 in gas to grab the latest release.

As someone driving from El Paso, I say, nicely, fuck you and your 30$ gas.

I like the lottery system it makes it an even chance, although depending on cost I probably wouldn't have a problem with a reserve society

I don't like the lottery system, but I get it, I just don't know why everyone needs to have an even chance. and Reserve society=less chance for in state people to get bottles

Hey, more the reason to do a reserve society!

I wouldn't be opposed to a Texas only reserve society as long as they would hold it to I could come pick it up. 4 trips a year are fine, but if I am jaunting down every other month I would have to begin looking for another job. OK, not really, but I would be pissy, and Texas BAs haven't witnessed me pissy yet. Ask Michigan what that looks like.

I don't like the lottery system. For something like Zwanze, it's a big enough event that if I lost the lottery it might still be worth the trip to Jester King to participate in the festivities. But for the next fruited sour release, it would be hugely disappointing if I lost the lottery and had to drive back to Houston empty-handed.

I bet it would probably be an online lottery and you would know before you made the trip if you "won" or not.

Ah, you're right, I totally missed that part with the Zwanze lottery.

If there was an online lottery for one bottle, it would be excellent if they allowed us to have someone else pick it up for us, but then again, it runs into issues with non-Texans. It would be a bit much for me to drive all that way for a single bottle.

Hoping that for such a small release they would give a long time period to pick up the 1 bottle.
