For those living in the JK area - my wife and I are traveling to Fredericksburg tomorrow (Monday). Our path west of Austin will be 290 (stopping at JK) then pretty much 290 all the way to Johnson City and then to Fredericksburg. With all of the rain and flooding in the hill country (1) is that path good? And (2) should I expect JK to still be on normal schedule tomorrow? I'd just call them and ask, but they aren't open until noon, and by then I'll be close. And if they are NOT open I'll probably take a different route. Thanks so much!

We're open Monday (Memorial Day) from 12-6pm. Fitzhugh Road between 290 and RR 12 was closed due to water streaming over the road. 290 between Dripping Springs and Fitzhugh is open now.

Don't worry, they all had Snorkels which kept them safe.

I did not make it out to JK. The weather was crazy all the way up 71 to Austin. Then, at a red light in Bastrop some dude slammed into us from behind. Hell of a jolt but we're ok. Then we had to stop due to insane rain. By the time I got to JK they were closed. Needless to say a very rough day. Hate to miss out on Foudreweizen. But at least we got here safe and it's been a nice vacation. Found some nice hill country brews up here, but no JK. Heading home tomorrow and hopefully it'll be a dry trip.
