I've tried 13/14/15 and was curious how hard/easy it might be to acquire earlier bottles. I have most all Michigan offerings including Kuhnhenn stuff and Founders stuff. For some reason, I've really taking a liking to the Jewbelation series. Thanks for any help everyone!

a lot of them pop up on shelves in the northeast... i think i've seen 10~12 pretty recently in boston and possibly at bierkraft in brooklyn. there's also all the rebrews from the gift pack (has jewb 8 thru 14 in 12oz bottles, plus 1 12oz bottle of vertical jewbelation, a blend of them all aged in bourbon barrels).

may involve some waiting for people to search around, but you should be able to get almost any of them, either aged (ie probably past their prime) or from 2010's holiday gift back.

i have a few 12ozs left, but want to drink them. some stores might actually still have the entire gift pack, though none around me.

I find the Jewbelation series to be hit and miss, but the Vertical Jewbelation really kicks ass.

    Vertical Jewbelation was amazing.

i'm not a huge fan of the pre-13 bottles, though they're great with a splash of bourbon. when 13 came out i thought it was amazing. liked 14, but curious as to how my cellared bottle will taste with 2~3 years on it. 15 i missed and am not too interested in (heard bad to "meh" things about it). agree about vertical jewbelation. wish funky were better.

last year (2 yrs ago) they did a gift set with 08 - 14 in 12oz'ers. probably your best bet is to try and trade for that set. came with a glass and the vertical (which i have to agree was divine). that way you can try them all and get another shot at the ones you've had. it was a good set, think it sold for $35/$40 or somewhere around there. i bet in some markets it is still on the shelves?

13 was like beer **** when I had it fresh. I have one bottle left but I'm afraid to drink it for fear it will tarnish the memory.

i hate to tell you that having "aged" 13 did exactly that for me... i also wasn't crazy about the rebrew somehow. jewbelation 13 fresh was really special though; as good as BA beers like angel's share (when it's carbonated).
