Had a few questions about this beer; if any of the Indy locals could help me answer them it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is this beer still on shelves? If so what the cost for a 4 pack of tall boys?

I see that the beer profile says it was a limited release beer. Can anyone be more specific on how limited this beer is/was?

Or if you have any other useful information that you think is helpful let me know!

    Cheers!

I bought a 4 pack on release day at the brewery last year. It was way overpriced at I think 15 bucks a can. Therefore it lasted a while at the brewery. I do think they distributed it too a couple of stores.

Definitely not on shelves. It was a brewery only release last year for Sun King's anniversary, with reservations made through one of the ticketing pages. There was a two can limit at $15/ea.

Edit: They may have distributed a bit, but I never saw it at any of my local stores. Doesn't mean anything, though.

I don't know how many they made, but the release last year was form the first batch, so it was technically aged a full year.

Edit again: released in cans on their second anniversary, so aged two years. Good call, BeerMe2002.

I could be wrong but I thought it was released at the one year anniversary draft only, and canned the following year being the first speciality that they canned being aged two years.

It never saw distribution, available at the brewery only for a couple weeks.

I traded one and shared another with a couple of friends. While it certainly wasn't bad, and in actuality was pretty good, I'm not sure I'd buy more at that price point, unless I was trading it. That said, several people I talked to about trading it decided they didn't want it after they realized it was $15.

I remember when that hit last year. We were trying to think of a more expensive non-barrel aged BW that was more expensive per ounce. We couldn't come up with one at the time.
