    Driving from O'hare to Joliet this afternoon. Any good must stop at breweries on that route?

    There are plenty of nice breweries located a miles or two off of 355

    Sadly it's Monday and noon whistle is closed.

    Hailstorm is just a few towns over from Joliet
    Alter Brewing in downers grove.

    You'd have to call those spots to see if they're open on Monday's

    Hailstorm is closed today, but 350 brewing about a mile away is open until 10

    Thanks for the Advice, Hailstorm was closed, but Alter Brewing is now open on Monday's, I made it there, and felt it was pretty good. I look forward to trying Noon Whistle next time I am in town.

    Glad you liked Alter. They make quality beer. They have always been worth the trip, no matter what style they are showcasing that week. They are certainly a brewery to look out for moving forward.
